Services
Residential personal care with 24-hour supervision in a small, home-based setting.
What an adult family-care home provides
An adult family-care home (AFCH) in Florida offers room, board, and personal care for a small number of residents in the provider’s residence. Care is non-institutional — closer to extended family than a large facility.
Planned care and support
- 24-hour supervision and a safe, structured daily environment
- Assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility)
- Medication reminders and coordination with physicians and pharmacies as permitted by license scope
- Meals and snacks in a home kitchen setting
- Social engagement, companionship, and respect for individual preferences
- Coordination with hospice and home-health partners when appropriate (comfort-focused, RN-informed care)
Who may be a good fit
Families often consider an AFCH when a loved one needs more support than can be provided at home alone, but prefers a smaller, quieter environment than a large assisted living community. Our RN-led approach may appeal to families who value clinical oversight and hospice-informed comfort care.
Final admission decisions depend on assessment, availability, and licensure — we cannot accept applications until licensed.
What we are not
- Not a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or large assisted living facility (ALF)
- Not offering independent-living apartments or a large campus model
- Not accepting residents or providing paid care before AHCA licensure
