A family-style adult family-care home rooted in clinical skill and genuine compassion.

Our story

Assisted Living Love and Care LLC is being established to offer residential personal care for older adults and others who need daily support in a safe, home-like environment. The home is located in Parrish, Florida, in Manatee County.

We chose the adult family-care home (AFCH) model because it keeps care intimate — a small household where residents are known by name, routines feel familiar, and families can stay closely connected.

Sonya Daines, RN — planned provider

Sonya Daines is a registered nurse with Certified Hospice and Palliative Nurse (CHPN) certification and more than ten years of hospice experience. That background shapes how we think about care: comfort, dignity, clear communication with families, and attentive day-to-day supervision.

Under Florida AFCH rules, the licensed provider lives in the home and is responsible for oversight of care and operation of the residence.

Zoning: Local zoning verification for AFCH use approved June 2026 (Manatee County)

Licensure status

We are actively completing Florida AFCH licensure requirements through the Agency for Health Care Administration. Until a license is issued, we cannot admit residents or represent ourselves as a licensed facility.
